& Encouraging Prospective Parents through the foster care
or adoption process -
Providing
Support, Advocacy and Education for foster and adoptive families after placement -
Advocating for waiting children
by educating policy makers. We provide support during court proceedings, and initiate
discussions with family court judges -
Consulting and Support Services are provided on an ongoing basis to the administration and case workers at The House of The Good Shepard and Department of Social Services. within the counties we represent. These are also provided as needed to many other service agencies within our communities.

Referral

- "Discovery" Program provides children in foster care with social events, reimbursement for recreational and educational opportunities, and incentives for success
- Information, advocacy, and Mediation Services are available 24/7 for foster and adoptive families
- An Educational
Advocate available for foster families for school related issues
- Social
Events scheduled periodically for our member families
- Newsletter is provided quarterly
