Dear FAFSS members,

There are many recreational activities that many would like to participate in. We realize that activities and outings are important in the emotional and social needs of our foster families.

With the high cost of gas and admission charges, we wanted to extend some financial support for you to take advantage of. The Discovery program would like to offer the following:

• Reimburse park entrance fees for up to 3 times during the summer for FAFSS members’ families.
• Reimburse $100 towards foster children who attend a summer camp.
• Reimburse for tickets of foster or adopted children and one accompanying adult for a day at Utica Zoo.
• Reimburse $10 per ticket for foster or adopted children and one accompanying adult to participate in special events (i.e., State Fair, Darien Lake, Enchanted Forrest, etc.)

We are hoping this process will allow members to have flexibility in the events they wish to participate in. Please contact Vicki Neurchesky if there are alternate events* you would like us to consider.

To process your reimbursement, please submit your original receipts, the names of participants, and the date(s) of the event(s) to:
